Oregon Ducks shine in the spotlight against Colorado

On Saturday, the #10 Oregon Ducks won its first conference game of the season, beating Colorado 42-6.

Oregon QB Bo Nix was just marvelous, and he played one of the best performances in a college football game that I have seen since Justin Herbert in 2019 at the Rose Bowl game win vs. Wisconsin. Nix went 28-33 passing for 276 yards, three touchdowns, and a rushing touchdown.

They led 35-0 at halftime, at which point Oregon had more first down (22) than Colorado's total yards (21). The Oregon defense brought the pressure all day, holding the Bisons to 199 total yards and getting seven sacks in the game.

I think that Oregon is one of my favorites to win the PAC-12 conference and make it into the college football playoff. Bo Nix is one of my favorites for the Heisman Trophy, which goes to the best player in college football.
