Quinnipiac tops Ohio State to advance to the Frozen Four


Quinnipiac Bobcats beats the Ohio State Buckeyes 4-1 on Sunday afternoon at Total Mortgage Bank Arena in Bridgeport, CT.


With the victory, Quinnipiac advances to the Frozen Four for the third time in program history and for the first time since the 2015-16 season.


Ohio State’s Joe Dunlap got the buckeyes on the board first, scoring 1-0. Then, Quinnipiac scored two goals to take the lead in the 1st. Goals were scored by Sophomore Christophe Fillion and Senior Skylar Brind ’Amour.


In the 3rd, Quinnipiac put the game out of reach by adding two more goals to make it 4-1. Sophomore Christophe Tellier and Senior Jayden Lee scored goals.


They will now play the Michigan Wolverines in the Frozen Four at Amelia Arena in Tampa, FL, home of the Tampa Bay Lightning, on April 6th on ESPN2.
