Rams get a huge win over the Saints to keep their playoff hopes alive

The LA Rams beat Derek Carr and the New Orleans Saints 30-22 at SoFi Stadium on Thursday night.

With the win, the Rams went to 8-7, and now they move into the second wild card spot in the NFC. It also gives them their first winning record of the season.

Rams QB Matthew Stafford has been playing at an elite level since he injured his thumb against the Green Bay Packers in week 9. He was terrific against the Saints, going 24 for 34 with 328 yards and two touchdowns.

Matthew Stafford is one of my favorite quarterbacks in the league, and I like how he leads by example and shines in big moments. He needs to keep playing at a high level if the Rams want to make a run in the postseason.

The Rams must keep playing hard, or they will lose their momentum to make a playoff run. Wide Receivers Cooper Kupp and Rookie Puka Nacua need to step it up and make big plays in games, which can help their team when required.

The Defense has to pressure the quarterback, take away top targets on the opposing offense, create turnovers, and make a big play in the game.

Losing for the Rams at this point of the season is no option. They need to keep winning games to stay in the playoff race in the NFC.

Next game for the Rams:

Sunday, December 31st

Rams @ Giants 1:00 pm on FOX

Note: you can find the game also on NFL Redzone
