Red Sox beat Toronto 6-5 on Verdugo’s 3rd Walk-off hit of the season


The Red Sox beat the Toronto Blue Jays 6-5 Monday night at Fenway Park.


Emmanuel Valdez hits his first major league home run, a two-run homer, and Jarren Duran hits a home run.


Masataka Yoshida had two hits with an RBI, extending his hitting streak to 11 games. Red Sox Starter Corey Kluber went 5 1/3 innings, allowing three home runs with seven strikeouts and four walks.


Toronto’s Bo Bichette hit a three-run homer and went 5 for 5 for the Blue Jays, who have lost for the fourth time in 12 games.


In the Bottom of the ninth, Alex Verdugo hit a Walk-off Solo home run into the Red Sox bullpen to give them the 6-5 win.
