Red Sox get a win in Colorado thanks to Tyler O’Neil and Cooper Criswell

Yesterday, the Red Sox went into game 2 of the series against Colorado and beat the Rockies 6-0 to snap a four-game losing skid.

Tyler O'Neil hit a two-run home run in the 1st inning (19th) and then a solo home run in the third inning (20th).

Red Sox starter Cooper Criswell was fantastic against the Rockies. He pitched seven shutout innings, five hits, and struck out four on a career-high 105 pitches.

There is still a long way to go for Boston. With the trade deadline coming next week, they need to get some help from the bullpen and maybe get another starting pitcher or right/left-hand bat in the lineup.

Next Game:

Today Wednesday, July 24th

Red Sox @ Rockies 3:10 pm on NESN
