Sabrina Ionescu's WNBA Debut

Sabrina Ionescu, the number one overall pick by the NY Liberty, will make her WNBA debut Saturday, July 25th. At age 22, Sabrina played four years at the University of Oregon where she became the first player in NCAA Division 1 to record 2,000 points, 1,000 assists, and 1,000 rebounds in a college career. Ionescu is one of the best point guards I've ever seen in college basketball since Kemba Walker at UConn. It's true!

With a potential Rookie of the Year candidate now on their team, the NY Liberty can expect an interesting 2020 season. With her ability to drive to the basket, deliver 3-pointers, and perform well under pressure, Ionescu will be the point guard her new team can depend on.

Sue Bird and Seattle Storm -watch out for Ionescu next Saturday! Fellow sports fans, don't miss the start of this year's WNBA season at 12PM ET on ESPN.
