Texas Rangers win their first title in Franchise history

On Wednesday night, The Texas Rangers beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-0 to win their first World Series title in franchise history.

It was the Ranger's first World Series appearance since 2011. They finished the postseason 11-0 on the road away from Globe Life Field.

Manager Bruce Bochy wins his fourth World Series ring and becomes the third manager in history to win World Series titles in each league.

Corey Seager was named World Series MVP. He becomes the fourth player to win multiple World Series MVP awards, joining some great hall of famers: Sandy Koufax, Bob Gibson, and Reggie Jackson. He hit three homers and had six RBIs in the five-game series.

Corey Seager played like an MVP all postseason long, one of the best performances I have ever seen in a while since David Ortiz with the Red Sox in the 2013 postseason.

Marcus Semien was just fantastic, and he came up with some big moments throughout this postseason that impressed me. He had some big hits in this postseason run that the Rangers needed when they were down in a game.

In the postseason, Nathan Eovaldi and Jordan Montgomery were amazing for the Texas Rangers. They had pitched some great games and took command of the game to keep their team in it.

I was so impressed with these two that they reminded me of other great duos in this postseason; that it was a close comparison of the Phillies' Aaron Nola and Zach Wheeler and the D-Back's Zach Gallen and Merrill Kelly.

Congratulations to the Texas Rangers on winning their first World Series Title in franchise history.
