The Bruins ride the wave with an Overtime victory Tuesday night in Pittsburgh


Charlie Coyle opened the scoring for Boston with his fourth of the year after Sidney Crosby scored 30 seconds into the 1st period. Brad Marchand added a power-play goal, and the rookie Jakub lauko scored his first career NHL goal.


Being down 5-3, the bruins started to make a comeback, Pavel Zacha scored a goal at 11:59 of the third period, and then Taylor Hall scored the goal to tie the game at 5-5 with 1:17 remaining.

In Overtime, Hampus Lindholm scored the game-winning goal at 3:37 into the period.


The Bruins have now won the sixth game in a row. In October, Boston was the NHL’s best team in the month. They opened the season with a record of 8-1-0, a franchise record through nine games.
