The Bruins win a big game against Carolina to extend their wins at home to 12 straight

The Boston Bruins beat the Carolina Hurricanes on Black Friday 3-2 in overtime on a game-winning power-play goal by David Pastrnak.

David Krejci got the scoring going for Boston, adding two goals in the game. His second goal tied it at 2-2 in the 3rd period.

Bruins goaltender Linus Ullmark made 28 saves before leaving the game with an undisclosed upper-body injury. His teammate Jeremy Swayman came into the game and made six saves in relief.

They have set the NHL record for most home victories to start a season with their 12th straight. The Bruins had also broken the mark of 11 consecutive home victories, set by the 1963-64 Chicago Blackhawks and the Florida Panthers last season.

Next Games: Tuesday, Nov. 29 vs. Tampa Bay 7:00 pm on NESN
