The Lions keep their NFC playoff hopes alive with a win over the NY Jets



The Detroit Lions beat the NY Jets in a comeback win 20-17 at MetLife Stadium. Lions QB Jared Goff went 23-38, 252 yards, and one touchdown pass in the game to help complete the comeback. Lions tight end Brock Wright scored on a catch and run a 51-yard TD pass on fourth down to give the lions a 20-17 lead.


Zach Wilson started in his first game for the Jets since week 11 at New England. He went 18-35, 317 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. They were able to get into field goal range with 1 second remaining on the clock. The kick went wide right, and the Lions hung on for the victory.


With the win, the Lions are now 7-7, having won 6 of their last seven games. They are inching closer to a wild card spot with three games left.
