USC quarterback Miller Moss threw two of his three touchdown passes to Ja’ Kobi Lane as No.13 USC comeback from an 11-point halftime deficit and won 38-21 over the Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday.
USC wide receiver Ja’Kobi Lane set a career-high with ten receptions for 105 yards with two touchdown catches. His teammate Duce Robinson got the go-ahead score with 1:28 left in the third quarter to give the Trojans the lead.
Wisconsin quarterback Braedyn Locke went 13 of 26, 180 yards, with a touchdown pass and an interception. Badgers running back Tawee Walker ran for 55 yards and two touchdowns.
In an interview, USC head Coach Lincoln Riley said that we knew we could compete in this conference, but now you’ve got to win, and you’ve got to play well. “After the way that last week finished ... and have the first half go the way it did, (but) come back and play that well, it just says a lot about the character of the guys in this room. They’re going to battle. They’re not going anywhere. We don’t panic.”
Miller Moss and USC will hopefully learn from this first game in Big Ten play and fix some things to compete in this conference.
Next game for USC:
