Villanova gets a big win as they beat No. 16 Xavier

Villanova Men’s Basketball gets a big win in Cincinnati, beating No. 16 Xavier Musketeers 64-63 on Tuesday night.

Justin Moore led the way for Villanova with 25 points in the game. Moore’s teammate Cam Whitmore also contribute by adding 11 points. It was the biggest victory under first-year head coach Kyle Neptune. They had overcome a 13-point deficit and were able to hang on for the win.

Villanova’s record is now 14-14 (8-9 in conference play).

In my opinion, if Nova wants to do well down the stretch, they have to:

- Score points early

- Rebound the basketball

- Create turnovers

- Play as a team

Justin Moore is one of the best college basketball players I have seen since his form teammate Colin Gillespie was playing. I have Justin Moore in my top 10 best players in college basketball list.
