The Walpole girl’s JV basketball team beat the Milton Wildcats 47-13 on Tuesday afternoon.
They were fantastic on both offense and defense. It was a great game from the start of the opening tip.
#22 Katie McDonald led the way for Walpole with 9 points. Ryan McDonnell had 7 points and a couple of great steals in the game.
I got the chance to speak with #0 Anna J and #30 Emily Haygan after the game about what was working for them in the game. There were good answers from both. The teamwork was the big thing of the entire game.
This team is outstanding; hopefully, they can finish the season well.
I look forward to seeing how they do in their final remaining games of the season.
